East Coast Striped Necktie
Every distinguished gentleman needs a classic striped tie, so we invite you to fall in love with our exquisite East Coast Striped Necktie with British regimental stripes.
The History of British Regimental Striped Ties
British regimental striped ties are considered to be one of the original styles of men’s neckties, with varying colors that represent membership in the British military regiments. They’ve been in continuous use since the 1920s or 1880s.
In the countries of the British Commonwealth, a necktie’s stripes run from a person’s left shoulder (their heart) down to their sword (their right waist). The stripes run in the exact same direction as the rifles that British soldiers strap over their shoulders.
This tie is versatile enough to wear to a job interview or a business event. Wear this tie with a light blue, white, grey, or brown shirt.
The East Coast Striped Necktie looks fantastic in the winter with a brown blazer, and looks great during the summer with a seersucker or cotton jacket.
This necktie is made on Italian weavers with 100 percent silk and a 100 percent wool interlining.
Quality and Durability
The East Coast Striped Necktie is made of sturdy fabric that results in an easy maintenance tie. The loosely sewn slip stitch helps prevent breakage from repeated knotting.
This tie is 60 inches long by 3.75 inches wide.
Please note that sizing information is for reference only. A necktie should stop at your belt when it’s knotted. We suggest measuring yourself to ensure that you’re getting a tie that fits you perfectly.
The East Coast Striped Necktie has alternating navy blue and chocolate brown stripes, which are divided by narrow white stripes. The blue and brown stripes have a ribbed finished look on the edges of the stripes.
Dry clean only.
To iron your tie, iron on the backside with an iron set on low temperature.
