In addition to varying sizes of American regimental stripes, the Old School Striped Necktie also has stripes with a repeating geometric multicolored foulard pattern.
American regimental striped ties was introduced by the Brooks Brothers in the early 20th century as a modern counterpart to ties with a British regimental stripe. The stripes run from the right shoulder down to the left side.
Foulard refers to the small scale pattern that has a basic geometric pattern repeating, and tie experts believe this pattern originated in the Far East.
The Old School Striped Necktie is great for special occasions, and would be a beautiful accessory for weddings that feature the color blue.

This necktie is made on Italian weavers of luxurious 100 percent silk with a 100 percent wool interlining.

This is a great easy maintenance tie that’s made of sturdy fabric. It has a loosely sewn slip stitch to prevent breakage from repeated knotting.
This tie is 60 inches long by 3.75 inches wide.

The Old School Striped Necktie has chocolate brown wide and very narrow stripes. Additionally, it has champagne stripes that are flaked on all sides by stripes in robin’s egg blue.
The foulard stripes are chocolate brown with champagne stripes and tiny robin’s egg blue blocks. The foulard stripes are flanked by a narrow champagne stripe on each side.
Dry clean only. To iron your tie, press on the backside of the tie with an iron set to low temperature.
